Comfrey leaves have been used for thousands of years to help with many human and animal conditions.
Comfrey can be used for:
tendons and connective tissue
supporting damaged bone
Comfrey can be used in several ways including in the feed, soaked in warm water and fed (including both water and leaves) or can be soaked in warm or cold water and used as a compress bandaged over the affected area.
HORSES AND PONIES: A Standard feed rate of 20 - 30grams per day which can
be doubled to 40 - 60 grams to build up in the system for the first 2 - 4 weeks.
For feeding extra large horses 17hh + or heavy cobs up to 50 grams per day
